A new article published by Temple University Communications says the school’s Owl Ambassadors serve as a driving force for enrollment and the city’s economy.

The story connects “Temple’s elite corps of 37 tour guides” to the rapidly-increasing number of guests visiting the university in North Philadelphia.

If those visiting students enroll at Temple, the potential money they will spend within the city limits, not including tuition, contributes to Philadelphia’s $2.4 billion economy, according to the article.
